The National Association of Railroad Passengers had one of the first non-profit websites on the internet in February 1996. However, it had not changed much since 1996. We knew it was time to modernize and evolve.
We did thorough research of website overhaul proposals. Some companies wanted a minimum of $4000 to do even a very basic overhaul of our website! That just wasn’t within our budget. We were refered to 2TechChicks Network. We were impressed with the work they did, namely for our sister association, the Ohio Association of Railroad Passengers.
Not only did 2TechChicks give us a free evaluation of our website, Andrea encouraged me to sit down with her in person and discuss my vision for the website. Other companies were not interested in that--unless we committed thousands of dollars up front.
Andrea and the 2TechChicks team was with us every step of the way. As you can see, they created an amazing product. Most importantly, they were there with us through the entire uploading and initial debugging process--including several technical problems related to our ISP. Unlike computer programming projects NARP has done, 2TechChicks was always responsive to our needs and questions.
